Snr Team Leader Occupational Therapist & New Graduate Occupational Therapist

About the position

We are offering a Grade 1 or Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our team, so experienced and new graduates are encouraged to apply! This position will be working with the adult disability community where you will be enabling and supporting clients to engage and complete daily occupations. This will require a range of tasks, knowledge and skills, including the prescription of assistive technology and home modifications. 
 

This is a full-time position with flexible hours to suite your lifestyle needs.

  • Tertiary qualification in social work

  • Eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers

Speech Pathologist

About the position

Our busy Allied Health clinic is rapidly expanding, and we are thrilled to now be offering the opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our team. New graduates and experienced Speech Pathologist are encouraged to apply! 
The position will be responsible for providing speech pathology services and care to clients of all ages but will be predominantly working with children.

Requirements 

  • Recognised bachelor level degree, or equivalent, in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Allied Health Assistant/Social Supports

About the position

​

We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant/Social Support Worker to work with our broad range of clients across the disability and aged community sector. This role will involve supporting clients through appropriate activities. Ensuring tasks are planned and implemented safely whilst encouraging clients to participate and adhere to treatment plans within the scope of your practice.

Our team service the Shepparton region and surrounding towns. Clients are seen in their preferred location either at home, Aged Care Facilities, Specialist Disability Accommodation, gyms, schools, equipment suppliers or in our clinic. You will be well supported at Thrive4Life Therapy with opportunities to learn, grow and up-skill.

We have a dedicated weekly team huddle, monthly team meetings and monthly team case conferencing sessions. Suitable mentoring and supervision will also be provided from our senior AHA Manager. We are strong believers in great work-life balance and are happy to accommodate so you can enjoy both work and all that regional Victoria has to offer. This role is available on a part-time basis with competitive salary + super, car allowance, laptop, work phone and approved personal development courses.

Requirements

We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant with the following:

• Ability to work autonomously and provide a mobile service, with use of own vehicle/transportation.

• Great people and communication skills.

• Enjoys working with children, adults, older adults and carers and is committed to making a difference in their lives.

• Can accurately document client progress and maintain documents as required in an online clinical IT software.

• Knowledge and experience of the NDIS processes is desirable but not essential.

• Police Check and Working with Children Check/ NDIS worker screening.

• Current driver’s license and car
